escaping mundanity & normalcy..

[Feeling.. rather Great!]

I'm back from my Redang trip.. as mentioned..
it was just Great!! simply enjoying the Sun, the
Sand & the Sea.. not forgetting the good foods..
and also the comfy bed that is awaiting every
now and then during the past few days.. =D

10th Mar, Thursday..

meet up with Leonard, Suzie, Heng, GuoYao,
KST and Mei at Beach Road market.. they were
having their dinner.. had mine at home.. proceed
to Golden Mile for our coach ticket and other
documents.. the coach departed at 10pm.. first
time experience such a long distance ride.. what
can I say?? hmm.. the drivers are simply superb!!
driving at such a speed.. tail gating at such a
distance.. breaking cold sweat each time I watch
them trying to overtake vehicles with oncoming
vehicles just distances away.. stopover at Yong
Peng and Kuantan along the way..

11th Mar, Friday..

reach Terengganu @ around 7am in the morning..
but our ferry will only arrive @ 9am.. 2 more hours
to go.. had our breakfast at the coffeeshop.. or the
waiting area.. whatever you will like to call that..
played a couple rounds of Uno.. with me losing most
of the time.. until the ferry finally arrive from
Redang to pick us up.. check into our rooms.. only
booked 2 rooms.. took a little break before heading
for our lunch.. walk around the premise within our
resort.. rent our snorkelling equipments..

went for our first snorkelling trip @ Turtle Bay..
goes the namesake.. I didn't see any turtle over
there.. cause, the monsoon still haven't completely
over.. tide was rather strong.. went back to our
resort.. dipped into the swimming pool for a little
swim before heading for dinner.. had BBQ buffet..
without having to work on it.. that's the perk for
paying a higher price.. turn in after a long day..

12th Mar, Saturday..

woke up at 6am in the morning.. everyone of us
were eager to watch the sunrise.. can clearly
witness the whole process just in front of our
resort lobby.. it was just so undescripable.. can't
really remember when is the last time I witness
sunrise.. went for our breakfast.. and prepared
for our next snorkelling trip @ Marine Park..
the place is kind of man-made.. but still quite
nice place to visit.. life under the sea is just so
amazing.. went back to our resort for lunch..

while the rest are taking their afternoon nap..
GuoYao and I went to dip ourselves under the
Sun to get some tan on our skin.. spent a total
of 1 hour under it.. with visible effect from it.. =D
swam a little in the pool before going back to
the room to rest.. and waited for dinner..

dinner was not as wonder as the BBQ we had
the previous night.. but still alright.. had a
plan going on meanwhile.. Mei and GuoYao
took a leave earlier than the rest of us.. while
we drag a little time walking around the lobby..
watched the soccer match.. before heading back
to our room.. create a surprise celebration for
Leonard & Heng.. an early celebration for their
birthday.. lots of fun.. laughters.. and tears from
the laughters.. =D

13th Mar, Sunday..

our last full day in Redang.. went around the
beach to look at the souvenior shops for gifts
that can be bought after the breakfast.. shop
hopping around.. with everyone of us getting
most what we wanted.. and it was almost
time for lunch before we knew.. hit the beach
after lunch.. more tanning.. swim.. feeding of
fish we the breads we took from the buffet.. =p

took a little nap back in the room after that..
some of them went for a stroll.. came back
and wake everyone up for dinner.. went to
one of the resort's restuarant instead of
having our paid buffet dinner.. we had
porridge steamboat.. quite nice.. very full..
not very expensive.. paid about S$60+ for
7 of us.. less than S$10 each.. dinner did not
end there.. went back to our buffet.. don't
waste the meal coupon mah.. had some
desserts and fruits before going back to our
room.. Leonard, Heng, GuoYao and me sat
at the balcony to chit chat, while the rest
were already in their dreamland.. many
topics brought in during the conversation..
some are serious.. while some are just pure
fun and interesting.. everything we've said
just marked a full stop at that moment of
time.. something we always do.. went to bed
@ about 1am in the morning..

14th Mar, Monday..

woke up for our breakfast and checking out
of the room.. waited for the lobby for our
ferry to be ready.. reached Terengganu
mainland @ about 9am.. board our coach..
and our gruesome 12 hours ride back to
Singapore begins.. due to some breakdown
in communication.. picking up point for the
other group of passenfers got mixed up.. was
delayed for about 4 hours because of that..
reached Singapore after 10pm.. while Suzie
and Leonard alight at Golden Mile.. the rest
of us alighted at Tang Dynasty.. off Taman
Jurong.. catch a bite at MacDonald before
going home.. not forget a little fun we create
on Benson when we reach checkpoint earlier..
with the 7 of us sending similar sms to him
to let him know we are all back.. hahaha.. =D

don't think I will post the pics here.. but
the background picture that I'm using is
almost exactly the same as what I'm
experiencing over there @ Redang.. =)
