escaping mundanity & normalcy..

[tired as usual..]

been a week since I log into here to type an entry..
had dinner with my family after work @ Zion Road..
to celebrate my dad's birthday.. suppose to have it
on last Friday.. but my sister couldn't make it due to
work commitment.. Saturday was the actual day..
but this time is due to my mum's work.. so we just
postpone it till today..

wasn't really in good mood today.. that idiot back in
office is getting on my nerves again.. I'm still holding
myself back.. since I'm surviving on this paycheck..
and my business is just getting a start.. don't really
want to act rashly unless provoked.. anyway, I won't
be at the losing end if I really do that..

Friday 28/01/05

went to Ah Wee's house at Chua Choo Kang for BBQ..
celebrate his birthday.. happen to be the same day as
my dad.. but that doesn't mean anything.. =p
had whole lot of fun over there.. till the security guards
keep coming over to get us to keep our volume down..
left for Holland Village after we clean up the place.. stay
there till about 4a.m..

Saturday 29/01/05 (Dad's Birthday)

went to meet Jensen at Comcentre in the morning.. help
him to settle some financial issue.. went home briefly..
get down to the office @ Tanjong Pagar.. had a great
conversation with one of my manager.. really knock in
some sense into me.. work wise.. or life style wise.. more
determine to succeed in a route less travelled by others..

went to Jia Xing's father's wake at Beo Cresent later in
the afternoon.. stay for a while.. before heading home
for a short rest.. meet Ah Wee, Adeline, Benson, Heng,
Leonard and Suzie @ Suntec.. went over to Shenton
Party World for some karaoke session.. and a little @
Geylang.. yeah.. my long missed Yong He Dou Jiang..
had my warm soya bean drink.. fritters and carrot cake..

Sunday 30/01/05

meet Ah Heng and Benson to shop for our CNY clothes..
went Orchard.. kind of weird when the place seems quite
empty on a Sunday afternoon.. bought a pair of jean.. 3
pair of socks.. and a t-shirt @ Top Shop.. they bought 2
pieces of t-shirt each.. and bought some more @ Adidas..
while I stop my spending after Top Shop.. since I've
already got what I need.. though was quite tempted at
Adidas..

meet up with Ah Wee and Adeline @ Far East.. make
our way to Adam Road for dinner.. and then to Collin's
grandma's wake @ Bukit Panjang.. stay there till about
12a.m.. as most of us still need to report to work the
next day..

been reading this book Rich Dad, Poor Dad recently..
quite interesting and enriching I would say.. really teach
a lot of financial stuffs that we never learn before.. point
out several things in life that we've made mistake with..
and how things can be advert through different type of
thinking.. enough of say.. go and read it yourself to find
out more.. =)

it's getting late.. got to sleep.. Good Night..!
