escaping mundanity & normalcy..

out of a sudden.. a plan for hiking was brought
up yesterday.. and spontaneously, a few of us
agree to it and meet up for this hike..

nice place isn't it?? took quite a number of
pictures during our trip there.. haven't receive
them from Leonard and Suzie..

took almost 3 hours for the 5 of us to complete
the whole thing before proceed for our lunch..
meet up with Heng and Benson before meeting
Leonard and Suzie at MacRitchie.. weather
wasn't really on our side in the morning.. keep
on raining.. almost gave up the whole idea.. till
the Sun shine on us again.. =)

took the shorter route.. walk the trail with
indication boards and maps along the way to
guide us to the destination.. crossed the Tree
Top Walk.. proceed to Jelutong Tower.. and
then Prata Place.. well.. Prata Place was not
part of the attraction of course.. =p

some updating over the weekend.. went to
Suntec City for the Career Fair with Leonard
on Saturday.. the event organiser should
consider calling it Education Fair instead.. at
least 60% of the booths belongs to studying
institutions.. career related booths only take
up about 20%.. with most of all the major
insurance company in Singapore taking up
the rest of the space.. -_-"

GuoYao suppose to meet up with us at 4.30pm..
received a call from him at 4.40pm.. he is still
on his way to MRT station.. which is.. BoonLay!!
did not wait for him to come over.. went Orchard
to meet up with Ah Wee, Heng and Benson.. took
a break at Coffee Club before meeting up with
Suzie, Adeline, Mei and GuoYao.. went Crystal
Jade for dinner.. second time this week.. took
something lighter.. had Wontan Noodle this time..
went Cafe Cartel at Cineleisure after dinner..
wanted to catch a movie.. but was too late to get
earlier tickets.. just relax ourselves at the cafe
till almost everyone is tired..

earlier on Tuesday.. was Patrick's birthday..
gave us a treat at Great World City's Crystal
Jade.. ordered the Hot & Sour Ramen.. the
12 of us.. Willy, Morgan. NoNo, YouYi, JiaWei,
TaiJia, Collin, Alan, LeeTong, CheeWee and
me.. not forgetting the birthday boy, Patrick..
had our meal in the VIP room.. because we
had a rather large group.. went HarbourFront
for coffee after dinner.. one of the staff at
Starbuck.. which i personally think.. she looks
like a MediaCorp artiste.. Michelle Liow..

quite excited now.. four more days before my
long awaited holiday trip to Redang.. can't
wait to hit the Sun, Sand and the Sea.. the
holiday mood is just so overwhelming.. can't
even concentrate on my work for the whole of
last week.. hahaha.. who cares.. =p

kind of hearing the same question on me for
the past couple of weeks.. Why aren't you
getting yourself a girlfriend yet?? hmm.. if
this question was brought up to me much
earlier.. perhaps may hit the panic button on
me.. but not at the moment.. this type of
urgency had kind of subsides over time.. not
that I didn't care.. just that I'm not going to
let it rule over me.. and create unnecessary
drag on me.. saying that I'm happy with what
I'm getting now is just self-deceiving.. but I
need to find my balance.. many things are
running.. running in my mind.. looks settled..
but not really.. things just piled up extremely
fast when you least want them to..

well.. what can I say? perhaps, follow my
favourite qoute of escaping.. Let's take each
step at a time.. effective.. but not always..
the higher you climb.. the harder you falled..
but this will make you climb even harder..
and wiser.. in order not to suffer the same
fate.. unless you gave up on yourself.. =)
