escaping mundanity & normalcy..

[任贤齐 - 两极]

it has been practically raining everyday..
weather so nice to laze at home.. bad for
anyone who wish to have some tan..

still.. I manage to get my butt off.. and
went for a swim during my off day.. need
to have a little workout to relax both the
body and the mind..

went off to rent a car after the swim.. as
I need it for the next day to fetch some of
my colleagues from Malaysia, coming over
to play during Easter Friday.. there's 8 of
us.. but only 1 car.. therefore, got to rent
another..

1 year 3 months.. is how long since I last
drove a car.. and that's during my test..
blunders are very much expected for the
next few days.. in fact, immediately.. haa..

as I drove out of the rental centre.. towards
petrol station before heading home.. find it
weird that the car don't seems to be able to
speed up.. upon reaching entering the petrol
kiosk.. I was greet by a stunned face

why the stunned face?? because there were
smoke coming out from the back of the car..
well.. from the rear tyres to be exact.. how
did this happen?? hee.. well.. that's because
I forget to release the handbrake while I'm
driving.. blur me.. =p

went Wild Wild Wet the next day.. fetch the
few of them up at Kranji.. was raining when
we reached.. don't wish to dampen any mood..
and since we will be wet when we play.. just
heck with the rain.. and off to have some fun..

tiring day it was.. especially when I got to
drive them around.. after sending them back
to Woodland to catch their bus home.. send
another colleague back to his home at Chua
Chu Kang.. then to Orchard to meet up with
Willy and Patrick.. walk a bit before picking up
Morgan at Tiong Bahru and to Holland Village..

received a call on Saturday morning.. was told
that I'm scheduled for work.. there were some
slight changes in the work schedule which I was
not told of.. since there's extra earning.. why not?

fetched Leo from his home before going to KST's
place for BBQ after work.. as the fish farm is way
inside the cementry.. it'll be quite eerie when I
got to drive back alone after that..

4 days of driving.. some road experiences gained..
many occasion where I lost my way.. missed a
turn.. and a parking fine.. all added up.. was in
fact something I'll not learn.. if I didn't try..

something hot on the news lately.. the talks on
Election is all over the media.. how heated the
contest will be.. it seems like the district I'm
staying.. will not be contested.. yet again.. haa..
but it's quite entertaining watching the ruling
party and the oppositions turning on the heat..

not in good mood lately.. guess some people
saw that in me.. but not many people knows
what is going on.. perhaps, this is me.. not
wanting to pour my sorrows.. fully bear what
I would be facing.. alone..
