escaping mundanity & normalcy..

still in my holiday mood.. although it'll
be over in another few hours time..

before I go into my beach break.. met
up with XP for lunch at NTU.. it has
been almost 2 years since I last visit
this place.. some changes.. even XP
changes.. her hair shorten.. but this
somehow made her prettier.. erm..
and also healthier in some sense.. hee..

and the beach break.. after 2 months
of planning.. the trip finally settled..
breakfast @ Mac before joining up with
the rest of the gang (8 of us..) at Tanah
Merah Ferry Terminal.. luckier for us
this time round.. we need not wait till
late afternoon before there's any room
for us to check in.. dumped our stuffs
in the room.. had lunch.. and off to the
beach we go..

if there's a need for a word to describe
the immediate feeling at that moment..
"gruesome" will be ideal.. haha.. lack of
stamina.. prickly heat from the Sun..
we're almost flatted out within an hour
of beach soccer.. while I lasted not more
than 30 minutes.. hee.. practically in
dazed mode most of the time.. (kind of
like me in my normal mode.. no diff..)

dipped into the cooling pool after that..
used to only have a single goal post at
the swimming pool.. the resort actually
made another on the opposite side.. erm..
matter of fact.. the pool is not in a regular
pool shape.. besides the goal post.. they
even had basketball board fixed.. more
games to let us get all tired out.. at least
half of the group suffered from minor pain
and injuries just on the first day.. haha..

second day was almost similar.. just that
the timeline for every activities stretches
longer.. therefore.. it's no surprise our
plan for game session at night was called
off unanimously in our sleep..

the last day was practically just breakfast
and packing up.. went to Sim Lim Square
for a while before going home.. as Morg
wanted to get something for his new Mac..

the result from this beach break.. I get to
sleep that night.. and wake up early the
next morning.. which I usually won't be able
to do.. severe sunburnt.. (but I'm not the
only one in the family.. haha..) and a holiday
hangover that never seems to get away from
me.. when will be next?

met up for lunch with Willy, Morg and Patrick
the next day.. and catch Get Smart at Suntec..
dropped over to Vivo.. shopped a little.. dinner..
follow by coffee..

while the rest of them at back to their respective
work today.. I had my extended.. due to an job
interview scheduled.. the 3rd in as many months..
but the first.. that is relevant to what I've just
completed study a few months ago.. performance
was moderate.. did not want to place too much
hope on it anymore.. the more I hope.. the greater
the disappointment will be..

back to work tomorrow.. and it's OT.. haha..

will there be another break..? before I start my
schooling.. I wish.. I wish.. I wish..
