2008 looking at 2007..

Jan'07.. signed to put myself under
the surgical knife.. in order to keep
me active in playing sports..

Jan'07-Mar'07.. a lengthy period
away from work.. periodic checkups
and physiotherapy put me back to
recovery.. return back to work.. so
much has changed during my absent..
took quite a while to adjust.. never
really get back to the momentum..

Apr'07.. started my part-time study..
being away from books for ages.. the
feeling of being a student is kind of
weird in the beginning.. even writing
notes during the class is a challenge..

Jun'07.. was declare fit to return to
participate in sports again.. although
the knee still don't feel too right.. hard
work does paid off.. sweet victory..

Jul'07.. closer to 30s.. life is still much
of an idle.. 2nd year in my tour of work
in the same organisation.. longest since
i stepped into the workforce..

Dec'07.. the one and only holiday trip..
glad that it happened and relished.. a
great trip to recharge myself.. but work
actually de-energised a person quite
easily.. when all things turn their back
on you..

and the year 2007 goes.. the government
did a great favour for middle class citizen
like me.. to get us understand what it is
like to be on the lower class.. if the
increase of GST from 5% to 7% is not
enough.. the increase of fares in all
available public transports actually
contributes to more fuel to the fire that is
burning my pocket..

one thing that I would never understand
is.. how would the increase of price in
everything helps the poor..?

life is already hard.. I wonder how would
the millionaires live.. given only a middle
class pay and savings to live in this place..?

at times.. it makes me ponder a little
deeper.. whether I should make leaving
this place a choice to consider.. with these
much has being happening.. it helps to
make my decison very much clearer..

"so much" to look forward to 2008 and beyond..
