escaping mundanity & normalcy..

Merry Christmas..!! another year older..
this blog that is.. of course, me too.. =p

well.. Jas, ain't you happy that every year
I got to say thank kew you for this blog..
third year running.. though the posts had
become less regular.. but still will keep the
habit to update once in a while.. especially
when you (pig lao da) and your sidekick,
Steph.. chasing after me for updates.. got
to squeeze all my brain juices out, to create
a new post to "entertain" both of you.. free
of charge some more..

a little update on the past weeks.. went
Sentosa with my colleagues straight after
performing night shift on Thursday morning..
weather was fine in the morning.. but not in
the afternoon.. where it started to rain..

spent the whole afternoon sweating out
by the beach.. frisbee.. volleyball.. and..

opps.. the first time showing myself here..

dinner at Vivocity Carl's Jr before heading
home.. drop dead tired.. wake up later in the
evening to do a quick packing up for my trip
the next day..

on board of T(ige)R112 on Friday afternoon..

not without my basic neccesities..

my pod.. book.. windbreak.. and also most
importantly, the camera.. always got something
to snap while on board..

this is also the very first time traveling alone..
reached the new Suvarnabhumi airport after two
hours plus of flight.. although new.. but directions
given on the sign sucks BIG time.. lost my way a
little while trying to exit the arrival hall.. definitely
need lots of improvement..

nothing much has changed in Bangkok.. traffic still
as heavy on weekends.. was stuck in the traffic jam
for more than two hours before checking into my
hotel room.. head down to Suam Luam for a little
shop-a-round and settle my hungry stomach..

met Eve and her colleagues at Sampeng the next
morning.. they arrived on an earlier flight the day
before.. interesting peoples I would say.. it's been
quite some time since I last catched up with her..
went over to Chatuchak next.. the old sector..

the iconic clock tower of Chatuchak weekend
market.. a place that can use as a meet up
point if anyone get missing in the group.. haha..

suppose to meet up with Stelvin (my NS mate)
at RCA on Saturday night.. but was too tired to
head down.. well.. at least he was dead drunk
before I would have reached, in any case.. haha..

Chatuchak again on Sunday morning with Eve
& Co.. tried venture the new sector.. but nothing
much compared to the old one.. actually.. there's
nothing there.. everyone prefers the old one..

went Siam Centre after that.. had our lunch at
Coca, before heading over to Siam Square and
MBK.. while the three girls carry on with their
own activities.. I went idling around while waiting
for Sharon to arrive.. as she was stopping over
for a night before heading off to HongKong.. envy..
had dinner and a little grocery shopping..

wonder what is this?

this is actually a single trip MRT token.. cool huh??
it works almost like our Ezlink.. one of my mode of
transport over there.. try not to take taxi.. as it's
more expensive, since I'm traveling alone most of
the time.. it's either BTS or MRT for me..

told you so.. I just love snapping pictures on plane..
maybe it's because, above the linen of clouds.. it's a
place where we less often get to appreciate..

back in Singapore with thunderstorm welcoming us..
non-stop for two consecutive days.. so cooling.. till I
fall sick.. even till now.. still yet to recover.. luckily I'm
still on leave.. all the way till 2nd Jan 2007.. hahaha..

this is a very long post.. ok lah.. shall stop here.. shall
write about my '07 resolutions on the next update.. =)

I believe I can fly..
