escaping mundanity & normalcy..

[Frente - Blizzard Love Triangle]

stepping into the month of July.. just like a
blink of my eyelids.. half of 2005 was gone..
any personal achievements? hmm.. seriously..
I doubt so.. hehehe.. with another half of the
year to go.. I hope to achieve something.. one
of those.. is to work harder on my new job..
yeah.. I got a new job.. starting on the 1st of
August.. although it's just a 2 years contract..
but I'm really glad to get this job.. there are
many more things that I really want to achieve
lately.. but there are a couple which I really
wish to achieve.. yet facing some level of
difficulties.. not giving up any hope just yet..

being quite busy for the past few days.. was
not working on Thursday.. department shut
down due to stocktaking.. went swimming
in the morning.. had my lunch at Amoy
Street.. wrong timing.. lunch crowd.. but the
queue for the Lor Mee was quite fast.. been
quite a while since I last savor this dish.. =D
went over to Stanley Street to search for
Suz's present.. Oakley Dartboard L.. Pink
Iridium Lens.. was told that although it's the
sole distributor.. but they do not sell it there..
all sets are only on display.. got to purchase it
at their authorised dealers..

no choice.. walk over to Suntec City.. found
it at C.E.D.S.. the only pair in the boutique..
new arrival mah.. made the purchase and
do some window shopping.. it's always been
this case.. when the Great Singapore Sales
is ongoing.. I got nothing to buy in my mind..
walk from Suntec to Funan.. then Bugis..
and down to Chinatown before heading home..
quite tired from all the walking.. but kind of
good exercise since I hurt my ligament..

had my dinner at home before meeting the
usual gang at Wala Wala.. quite enjoyable..
but songs are kind of slow.. felt sleepy.. -_-²²²

working on Friday almost bored me till death..
the whole department practically left with only
me and my colleague.. looking forward to the
dinner after work.. went City Hall with Yin after
work.. waited for Serene and WeiHua to arrive..
both of them were late.. had our dinner at Al
Dente Trattoria.. nice place.. good ambience..
but the waitress got our order wrong.. still the
food is not that bad.. do some grocery shopping
with Serene and WeiHua.. as they are heading
down to Sentosa for their chalet after that.. sent
Yin home.. before heading back home to pack my
bag for Suz's chalet..

arrived at the chalet nearly 1a.m.. luckily they
were not asleep yet.. hardly they would.. played
games.. chats.. only to catch some sleep at around
5a.m.. but woke up at 8.. went to have our Mac
breakfast.. a short trip down to Pasir Ris Central
and back lazing in our room.. had a short swim
before BBQ.. the rain almost dampen the whole
session.. but it was actually quite fun BBQ in the
rain.. using the umbrella to cover the pit.. the foods
were cooked in a very fast pace.. almost complete
within an hour.. nothing to do after that.. went to
Tampines K Box for some singing session..gruesome
5 hours of singing till 3a.m.. actually wanted to have
a light supper.. but end up with a heavy one..
courteousy to our always so chatty GuoYao.. "seduce"
the aunty selling Ngoh Hiang to give us so much
food.. make me have to eat so much cucumbers..

woke up at 9a.m to prepare for checking out.. went
Changi Village for breakfast before heading home..
went straight to bed upon reaching.. slept all the
way till 4p.m.. meet my buddies for kopi session at
Tiong Bahru after my dinner at home..

really enjoy the whole weekend.. having meet up
with so many group of friends.. but there seems
to be a constant feel of something is missing..
